Counselling for Clarity and Self Care

Counselling is a confidential relationship in which we would meet regularly, usually once per week, to help you, the client, to address an agreed issue or achieve some goal. Sometimes the issue and what the client wants to achieve are clear. Sometimes the client will be unsure, initially using the counselling to obtain clarity around some difficulty or confusion, and then to focus on something specific that has become apparent.

My role is to help you use counselling in ways that meet your needs. Perhaps you have a short term issue and just need some space or support. Or you may want to look deeper into something that has troubled you in the past and just won't go away. Or we can work together to develop your talents, such as intuition or creativity. Or you may want to use the counselling space to help you grow more whole, or to strengthen the connection with your deeper self and your highest purpose.

Psychosynthesis allows us to work together according to your particular situation, personality and preferences. This flexibility also allows us to widen, narrow, or redirect the focus of the work from time to time, tailoring the work as needed.

Duration

Counselling lasts for as long as the client and the counsellor feel it is beneficial, which may be a few weeks, or longer in the case of deeper work.

Sessions

Sessions are 50 minutes long and take place in a dedicated room at my home in Walthamstow. Before commencing regular counselling sessions, we would hold an initial session to discuss your needs and to agree fees, session times and so on.
